I knew I'd eventually see it . . .

The light. At the end of the medical bill tunnel.

Sure, we're nowhere near being finished paying medical bills. But I just wrote the last check to one of the companies we owed, and it feels great. (Naturally, complications during delivery means more specialists and, as a result, more bills.) Perhaps that stimulus package will help make a bit more of a dent.

We still have a long way to go. But we're getting there.
