This week we're going to learn how to p2tog, or purl two together, which is a right-slanting decrease.
Step One: Insert the right hand needle through the next two stitches on the left hand needle as if to purl.
Step Two: Purl these stitches together as one and drop them off the needle. This makes two stitches into one, decreasing one stitch. (Note: in the photo there was already one stitch on the right hand needle.)
You'll notice it's quite similar to the k2tog!

If you're looking for more tutorial ideas, might I suggest the p2tog through back loop and slip slip purl. They are tricky, and hard to find info on.
