The web zine that hosted my St. James pattern, MetaPostModernKnitting.com, has gone offline. I have been flattered by the number of requests I've gotten for St. James in the last few days! I have long wanted to update the pattern and this seems like the perfect time.
If anyone would like a copy of the current St. James pattern, please email tonyawagner@theshizknit.com and I will send it to you as soon as possible. The updated pattern will be available on this website in approximately one month (I knit the first sample in a week, so a month is a conservative estimate) and will include directions for short-row bust shaping, a better waist shaping technique and an improved collar.
This also allows me to use a yarn I've been infatuated with recently - Spud and Chloe Sweater. I have loved it since I used it for my Lucky Number Pullover and am currently using it for another project. It's just so difficult to choose a color for the sample! (Maybe Barn?)
