It's that time of year . . .

I finished these warm and cozy socks in late summer, when I was teaching my Basic Socks class. Knit on worsted weight yarn and large needles, the "Knit Nook Socks" are now keeping my husband's feet toasty on cool nights.

The color is not very accurate thanks to the cell phone photo, but the yarn is Raggi in colors 1550 and 1551.

As I prepare my winter class schedule, I think I am going to do a different beginner sock class - ankle socks in fingering weight so you get right to the fun part of turning the heel. What do ya think, guys?
