. . . particularly me, but I'm sure no knitter would object to these goodies! When I worked at the Knit Nook, I only used yarns that I couldn't purchase at the store when I was given them for a design. Now I have a lot of new yarns to try! Since I have no photos for this post, I thought it would be fun to link to a few things on my wish list.
Spud and Chloe Sweater . . . any color, any amount! You can always find something to do with this yarn . . . I have my eye on a big blanket. This might be my favorite yarn, though I still love Blue Sky Worsted Cotton.
Brooklyn Tweed yarns Shelter and Loft. I've seen both of these but haven't knit with either. They seem like a perfect, slightly softer alternative to the now discontinued Rowan Scottish Tweed.
Anything from Quince & Co. I'm thoroughly intrigued and have heard only good things.
And, just in case I'd have trouble deciding what to make, a Twist Collective Gift Certificate . . . $15 would be enough to buy a couple of patterns.
Since my little sister got a job at a bookstore, it might not hurt to mention a few books, too!
Knit One, Knit All by Elizabeth Zimmermann
The Knitter's Book of Yarn by Clara Parkes
The Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns by Ann Budd
Of course, I really don't need yarn . . . I have quite the stash to knit down! But it sure is fun to take a few minutes and dream about all of that squishy fiber out there . . . and I've barely begun!
